Nedelkovska Liljana
Ljiljana Nedelkovska (Dubrovnik, Croatia, 1954). Graduated from the Department of History of Art and Archeology at the University of Skopje in 1979, where she worked as an assistant professor in 1980 -1985. Since 1985 she works as a curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Skopje. She has curated numerous exhibitions of Macedonian artists and participated in several international project (“The Unifying Gift: The Macedonian-American Art Relationship”, 2003; “Cataclysm and Creativity: Art in an Age of Uncertainty”, a collaborative exchange project (MoCA, Skopje and The Weil Gallery at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, partners in the International Partnerships Among Museums program – 2005/2007 Cycle). She has published numerous essays in magazines Razgledi, Moment, The Large Glass, and published several publication: “The Art of Petar Mazev Seen Through Bibliography”, 2005. In 1997 she has received a fellowship from the Getty Foundation for Scholars from Central and Eastern Europe for her research in Abstract Painting in Macedonia.
